What weapon is best for Duality dungeon? ›

Weapons. Swords – Once again swords are a great option. Great tool for killing the Psion Standard Bearer, the Bell Keepers, and damage is up close to a stunned target. Lament, Falling Guillotine, and Heartshadow are good options.

Duality dungeon armor

Players that complete the Master version of the dungeon can earn the Artifice armor, which offers an additional mod slot.

Duality is 100% farmable, which means players can continue getting legendary loot from each encounter an unlimited number of times, regardless of how many completions you have.

The Duality Dungeon can be farmed whenever it is the rotating pinnacle, meaning players are only able to reap the rewards of this farm once every five weeks or so. However, when available, the dungeon is completely free to farm, meaning players can repeat the farming process over and over again til they're satisfied.

One of the coolest additions is the new Duality dungeon, which has players entering Calus' mind to try and uncover his secrets. Along with the 12 Repressed Memories, there are also two secret chests in this dungeon. Since you can only craft two of the six guns, these chests are a great way to supplement your loot.

Autoloading or Clown Cartridge/Firing Line – This is it, the best DPS weapon in the game thanks to the new 3 round burst aggressive archetype that does not exist anywhere else in the game.

If you're looking to obtain the Artifice Armor, then you are in luck as this week's legacy dungeon is Duality. And fortunately, players can cheese one of the bosses to farm god-tier rolls on the Artifice Armor. Players discovered the tactic as soon as Lightfall launched last month.

I would say the odds is anywhere between 95-99% armor drop ratio after the first completion each week. Weapons sit at 1-5%. Good luck ever getting the pattern unlock for Fixed Odds or Epicurean if you didn't get it in the first couple weeks. Or even good/god rolls for any weapon in particular.

How hard is the Duality dungeon? ›

1 Hardest: Duality

This dungeon has a unique bell mechanic which turns most encounters into timed ones, and that already puts huge pressure on the shoulders of the player when soloing. Not just that, the encounters are incredibly close-quartered.

Destiny 2 weapons such as Xenophage and Gjallarhorn were easily obtainable due to their quest. This has got players wondering if the newest Exotic Sword from the Duality Dungeon is farmable in some way. Unfortunately, that isn't the case.

Doing it solo is strictly for the challenge (and unique cosmetics to show off you did the challenge). Solo Flawless Duality is probably the hardest solo dungeon to date, rivaling, if not beating out Prophecy for the title. Practise, get better gear and get familiar with the mechanics.

A High DPS Linear Fusion Rifle - You'll want a high dps Linear Fusion. A Stormchaser with Rapid Hit and Vorpal Weapon is the best you could ask for, but a Bait and Switch Focused Fury Cataclysmic is also a great option.

While this is only a small stat increase to your chosen stat, Artifice Armor is valuable since the bonus is free. It's great for either easing up the pressure on your available armor energy for other mods or giving you that little extra stat boost to reach the next tier.

The weekly raid and dungeon are fully farmable: Oh, wait, you said you liked farming? We got you there too with the new rotator system. All lockouts on encounter rewards for Legendary gear are being removed, which means all Legendary drops in both raids and dungeons will be 100-percent farmable if you so choose.

Sadly, players that are looking for Artifice Armor for the chest or mark will have to farm the second encounter or the third and final encounter, as the first encounter for Spire of the Watcher will only drop three pieces of armor.
