Does Grasp of Avarice always drop loot? ›

Any piece of loot from the dungeon can drop from the final boss encounter, which always drops two items, making it a great option for farming. This dungeon has no loot lockout and is farmable, meaning there is no restriction as to how many times you can get loot from an encounter in a given week.

The Grasp of Avarice dungeon is one of the most rewarding activities in Destiny 2. Players that work their way through on Legend can earn some Bungie 30^th Anniversary gear while those that battle the Master walk away with some of the best armor in the game.

Adding to the trouble, Destiny 2 players are now reporting that the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon final boss is bugged and not moving or stuck. This is preventing them from completing the quest (1,2,3).

The dungeon will take you between one and two hours, so we recommend looking for friends or other players online to form a full squad. During the initial phase, you have to kill enemies until they start dropping orbs that look like loot. Once you've gotten at least one, you'll be granted a status with a timer.

Grasp of Avarice is no different in that regard, with a recommended light level 1310 and the potential to earn the first item needed for the Gjallarhorn exotic quest.

Only Grasp, Duality, and Spire of the Watcher currently drop Artifice Armor.

Yes, you can repeat this dungeon to get regular loot. If this dungeon is in the weekly rotation, you can make the most of it and repeat Destiny 2 Grasp of Avarice to get any number of pinnacle rewards.

Farming this dungeon for unlimited loot is easier than you think. All you need is a committed Fireteam and a couple of hours ahead of you. This is how you can go about farming the Grasp of Avarice dungeon: Go through the dungeon on your first character until you reach the encounter you want to farm.
