The Volvo C303 is a compact cab-forward 4×4 originally developed by Volvo for the Swedish Army. The C303 has been called the "Swedish Unimog" as it has a lot in common with the German off-roader, it's just a lot more compact.

Powered by a torquey 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine taken from the then-contemporary Volvo road cars, notably the 164 family saloon, the C303 had enough grunt to power its way out of just about any situation, unless it was a drag race.

The car was developed in the late 60s based on the successful L3314 series and went into production in 1974. This version was produced both as a 4x4 and a 6x6.

Description. Rare Volvo C303 Radio Commander, one of only a few all over the world. In the '70s, Volvo produced 8718 vehicles of a model named "C303" for the Swedish Army. Almost 1000 of them were sold in Malaysian Public Sectors (Electricity, Forest etc.) and another 1000 were constructed for Signal Corps. In 1983, the C303 run and won.
