Pasteis de Belem may be the most famous bakery in Lisbon and after trying the egg tarts here, I have to say it's earned its reputation. This was the best pastel de nata we tried on our trip. We stopped for a quick snack on our tuk tuk tour and luckily it wasn't busy mid-afternoon. We ordered a nata each to try and wow was it delicious with.

The bakery is just across the street from the Jerónimos Monastery and within walking distance of other famous sights in Belem like Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument of Discoveries) and the Belem Tower.
