The Osternas leather handle looks nice but it's actually too small for this beds handle spacing. These Ikea handles have 5.25 hole center spacing while the brimnes bed has 6.25 hole spacing. Also, the metal end cap that fits into the drawer face is meant for a 1/4 pilot hole. I think the pilot hole that comes predrilled is 3/16.

I had a full size Brimnes frame (not the headboard) in college for 3 years. I liked it a lot and the storage drawers were great. I wouldn't suggest this if you plan on moving though, assembly is a bit of a pain and I can't imagine trying to disassemble this nicely. 3. EmilyB1995.
