This is hands down the most popular photo spot in Amsterdam. The Damrak area has quite a few houses facing the water, on the far left side (where my photo is taken), it's cute but fairly basic. However, on that side, there is a small dock on the corner so you can get good shots there.. This is in a remote location in Amsterdam, so you do.

1. The Amstel River There are many photo opportunities along the banks of the Amstel river, both in the city centre and south of Amsterdam (outside the city limits). In the city centre, one of my favourite spots is on the Blauwbrug (Blue Bridge) near the City Hall.

1) 7 Bridges. This place is a cool intersection of a couple of canals, from which you can technically see 7 bridges in a row down one of the canals. This is located at the intersection of Keizersgracht and Reguliersgracht. I never made it here during enough light to really shoot all 7 bridges, but thought it was cool enough to add to the list.
