It is a major event that many residents of the valley and around the area look forward to every year. Plans are now underway for this year's edition. The countdown is on to Canada Day, and volunteers behind the Drumheller Canada Day Parade are gearing up for a big turnout-of both viewers and participants-to kick off celebrations. There were just shy of 50 registrations received by Monday afternoon, June 26, and parade volunteer organizer Cindy Thomas is hopeful they can reach at least 75 floats by Canada Day.
