Marche d'Aligre is a real, live, intense, working-class market - with both a covered market and outdoor stands arranged in the nearby Place d'Aligre. These markets are also surrounded by a market district - several streets radiate out from the market, full of tiny specialty food boutiques, ethnic butchers, hardware stores, cafes, tiny trendy restaurants and just about everything else you can.

The vendors offer everything from textiles, to cookware, antique books and vinyls, and all sorts of Parisian bric-a-brac. The best part about this market is the low prices! As the market is closing up (around 1PM), vendors start.
