After the Tony Duquette's death in 1999, Hutton and Ruth Wilkinson purchased the house to "Save It's Life." Most of the Duquette's collections of 17th, 18th, and 19th century antiques and works of art were sold after their deaths in the Duquette Collection Sale with Christie's. Hutton Wilkinson re-decorated the house using mostly furniture.
