"De periode na het eerste hoogseizoen was ook zeer hectisch, het opknappen van het chateau, een kind dat veel te snel aan het groeien is, die momenteel ook Frans spreekt en het organiseren van onze eigen buitenlandse bruiloft. Al met al een flinke uitdaging."

Thomas en Pauline Mentink verhuizen in deze nieuwe aflevering van Ik Vertrek samen met baby Otis ( zou het een referentie zijn naar het hoofdpersonage in Sex Education?) naar Frankrijk.
