This hike was one of three I desperately wanted to do while visiting the Italian Dolomites and one of the most popular ones in the Cortina d'Ampezzo area. Its stunning aqua lake surrounded by boulders and a thick forest is just too stunning to pass up.

The Lago di Sorapis hike is an intermediate trail that takes between 2 and 3 hours each way depending on your pace. It's very well marked and easy to follow.
