Custom Portrait Pack Miscellaneous at Wasteland 2 Nexus Mods and community
When I tried to add custom portraits I went to character creation after moving the files and there was an extended list of pages to select portraits from but they were all blank.. I copied my custom portrait folder from Wasteland 2 to Users\*****\Documents\my games\Wasteland3 and it worked.

From United States. Posted September 11, 2014. JKN91: The recently released manual for W2 indicates that you can insert your custom portrait for characters. What is the size for the pictures? The manual does not specify this. The images they use are all 256x256, so I assume that would be the same for your custom images.

Custom portrait is a feature allowing the player to upload their own portrait for use by Rangers in both Wasteland 2 and Wasteland 3. 256x256 pixels large PNG format Placed inside the Custom Portraits folder in Wasteland 2/3's My Documents folder (on Windows 10 that's My Documents/My Games/Wasteland 3/Custom Portraits).

Searching google images for term "wasteland 2 avatars" is one of the coolest searches on google images I've ever done. It was like "woah." Some of it was art and some of it was live action images. I'm not saying it was all specifically for Wasteland 2 avatars but a lot of them were. Again, it was visually very cool looking. #2

Solution? CREATE THE FOLDERS! As a refreshed, if you want to add custom portrait the steps are as followed: Save your custom portrait as PNG/JPG 256x256. Save it in the folder User/Documents/My Games/Wasteland3/Custom Portraits Launch the game. If you're playing on Gamepass, very likely you don't have the "Wasteland3" folder.

They will be added to the available. portraits in the character creation screen, and will not replace any of. the existing vanilla ones. 1) Unzip the file. 2) Place the images you want in \My Documents\My Games\Wasteland2\Custom Portraits. 3) Profit. Custom portrait images for use with custom characters in Wasteland 2.

*My Games\Wasteland3\Custom Portraits* Files should be PNG and 256x256, it was pointed out to me that this would mean most if not all of the Wasteland 2 portrait packs from Nexusmods would work here. Game will need to be restarted after adding files if it was open during transfer.

The final touch is the portrait, which can be one of the pre-made ones, a screenshot of the 3D model or a custom one. Wasteland 2 also permits exporting characters for later use. Thanks! Been messing around with TF2 portraits. I think I like them better than the grim and gritty ones. BTW, found a cool little "glitch/feature". All my TF2 portraits have no background, so when they show up in dialogue, they take on whatever background is at the current location! #5. Showing 1 - 5 of 5 comments. Per page: 15 30 50.
