I have been into Scandinavian Christmas decor this year and so I have been adding little touches here and there that have that Scandinavian feel. These garlands I made totally have that vibe. This strand of garland is used as the base of the asymmetrical design for the mantel this year. The Christmas garland will hang down on the left side of the mantle. I attached the end of the garland to the right side of the mantel, left a small swoop in the center, and then secured the left side of the garland on the mantel, with the remaining.

For this year's layered Christmas mantel garland I used a combination of five different types of garlands and lights. To make sure it all stayed put and hung the way I wanted it to, I started with the largest and heaviest garland first.
