"Chicken Dinner" was the name of a real candy bar that was produced in the early '20s by Sperry Candy, a company based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The unusual name was meant to echo the feeling of well-being and prosperity associated with "a chicken in every pot"—a slogan that went back to Henry IV of France and which would be revived.

This item I present today is another Vintage candy wrapper. This wrapper is a Tom's Full Dinner Candy Bar. This is another one of those candies that promised to fill you up like a full dinner. But of course they were proved wrong lol. This wrapper is in great condition. Mint condition. There is some age discoloration but that is to be expected.

Soon, in order to cut costs, Tom's Full Dinner would lose the real milk chocolate ingredient. This comes from the "Munktiki Collection", a large lot of consumer goods packaging saved and stored by Californian Paul Nielsen during the 1970's.
